Hood, T e x ., and has been a s s i g n e d as a clerk in the personnel section there. He and his wife, Babbara, live in their trailer home at Killeen, T e x ., near the army post. Pvt. J a m e s Wr i g h t of the U. S. Marine Corps recently returned to Camp. 29 Palms, C a lif., after spending a two- week leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wr i gh t , near Jamestown. Wright had been stationed at Camp Pen dleton for the past four weeks. He plans to go o v e r s e a s the first of the year. JamestownOK’s Lighting Deal Jamestown council members Monday night renewed a five- year rate c o n t r a c t with the Dayton Power & Light Com pany for municipal lighting. The agreement, in form of an ordinance, is identical with the one that expires at the end, f of this year with one excep tion --a five d o l l a r monthly increase in the cost of power -for the big boulevard lights, wh i c h b r i n g the v i l l a g e monthly lighting bill to $228 33 for the next five years. T/Sgt. V. N. Markely, the non-commissioned officer in charge of the Jamestown radar site, said, that a family here hit by sickness and hospitali-' zation bills is being aided by the Air F o r c e ' s Adop t -A- Family plan. Funds to sponsor this Merry Christmas were raised among the personnel of the radar site with an assist from members of the Flight and All-Weather T e s t i n g s e c t i o n at the air base. Sgt.
