" This was a story of stained glass and the art of cutting and arranging it into artistic and inspiring designs such as we view in our church windows up and down Amer­ ica. Mrs. Max Heifner read an i n t e r e s t i n g description of "TheOld RochinghamMeet­ ing H o u s e . Fields copped the November p r i z e in Greene C o u n t y ' s Dairy Herd Im­ provement Association test­ ing. His herd averaged 46. 6 pounds of butterfat and 1196 pounds of milk per cow. Mark and Maynard Binga- mon poured in second with 4 2 .1 pounds fat and 1,188 pounds milk averages. Fred G. Wolfe was third. His herd posted 39. 6 and 826 pound averages. Paul T o wn s l e y and son ranked fourth with averages of 38 pounds and 986 pounds. J. Leo Wells was fifth with 37. 5 pounds fat and 1, 105 pounds milk averages. A covered dish supper was served pre­ ceding the business meeting. Along with the election of officers was a list of general items for discussion and also the yearly reports from com - mittees. DeanSesslar was re-elected as a deacon and Mrs. Homer Persinger was named a dea­ coness and Mr. J. B. McCar- dle was e l e c t e d a deacon.
