Striking force was so strong that J e f f e r s o n led 16-5 at the end of the first period and had p i l e d up a 27-11 m a r g i n by halftime. After* that Yellow Springs recov­ ered somewhat, showing a s t r o n g surge in the second half. Greeneview's Junior Rams now are alongside their big brothers in leading the loop. The season mark for the jun­ iors now stands at 6-2. Hie only dim mark for the Rams is that Bowersville Je f­ ferson also leads the league. The two reams are tied at the 5-1 loop mark. The young Rams must face the B o w e r s v i l l e Jefferson junior Tigers Thursday. This is the final game and the- championship hinges on the outcome. The banquet is open to po­ tential members from Greene Clark and Madison counties. Members of 4-H clubs and FFA c l u b s who have com­ pleted Holstein projects will be admitted free. Trophies will be awarded to the club m e m b e r s with the highest butterfat average and highest herd average for the past year. Guest speaker will be Ferris Owen of Newark, O ., who will show slides ofhis recent trip to Russia. Ron Brbwn, with 15 points, and Bob Marshall, with 13 p o i n t s for the game, kept the Tigers humming through - out the last two quarters. Jefferson copped the reserve game 31-25. This leaves the Tigers be­ hind only Greeneview in the Greene County League and makes the Bowersville quin­ tet the most s e r i o u s threat to Ram s u p r e m a c y at this point in the league.
