Cleveland 12, O ., until next fall when she plans to return to college for grad uate work. She tentatively plans to study at Kent State University. Girl Scout Troop 30 enjoyed "Oklahoma” in Springfield Tuesday evening. Mrs. Tom Harner is the troop leader. Sunday guests of Mr. A. B. Creswell were his daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jones and David of Day- ton. Mr. and Mrs. George Gor don had dinner Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Ogle ol Springfield. Mr. Russ Lemons was a Sat urday evening dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. P.J. McCor- kell. Miss Lois Thayer spent the we e k e n d with Miss Linda Gordon on campus at Ohio State University, Columbus. " An o t h e r correction--this from a recently-discovered fact: Jerry Hill does not hold what we'd call the scoring record of modern history in Greene County. His 36 points is the high point of the season, cer tainly, and an enviable ac complishments. But, it seems that back on Jan. 14, 1947, ball-hawking Tiger named J. N. Sa. Seven guests gathered last week to wish Scottie Sticka a h a p p y birthday. Scott is the son of Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Sticka of Cedarville. He was four. Guests were John Irvin, Bobby and M i ke Staigers, Michael McCorkell, Linda Chapman, Deslie Rigio and Cheryl Marshall. Cub Scout Pack 27 went to An t i o c h College, Yellow Springs, last Friday evening to receive a brief instruction course in astronomy. Classes will be held in the health center, Greene Mem orial Hospital and begin at 7:00 p. m. In developing his topic he outlined some of the leader ship f a c t o r s that graduate students indicated they felt were most important for a successful school*program. Roll call was answered with members r e s p o n d i n g with their favorite house plants. Mrs. O. T. Marshall gave a program on decorating the home with foliage plants.
