Sheep Men Pick Bradfute Cedarville Township farmer John Bradfute has been re­ elected to the presidency of the Greene County Sheep and Wool Improvement Associa­ tion. Directors of the organiza- tm took this action at the annual organizational meet­ ing Friday at Xenia. Ca r l Pickering of Silver- creek Township was succeed­ ed in the vice-presidency by Er s el Hutchison of Beaver­ c r e e k Township. Clarence Williamson of New J a s p e r Township was elected secre­ t a r y - t r e a s u r e r to succeed" Wilfred McDonald of Jeffer- FB Group is 20 Years Old The Farm Bureau Discussion Group NO 1 met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Fudge Monday evening for a covered dish supper. This was the 20th anniver­ sary of the group. The first m e e t i n g was held at the Fudg e home 20 years ago, The group is one of the six oldest councils in the county and has fifteen charter mem­ bers. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Garringer, Mr. and Mrs. He b e r Keach and son, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Heinz, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fudge and children, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Spracklin and granddaughter, Mrs. David Leslie, Mrs. Jesse Gray, and the hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Fudge. The next meeting will be Monday evening, April 1, at the h ome of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Garringer. 20 farmer guests ol the or­ ganization. Lions r e p o r t e d that some $400 was cleared on the re ­ cent basketball game. C e d a r v i l l e High School faculty members troped the Lions44-17. The Lions aren't talking much about that. Eugene Miller won a tele­ vision set given away at the b a s k e t b a l l game. Arthur Evans won a radio. The a mo u n t cleared was enough to purchase the aud­ i o m e t e r planned for the school. Abo ard meeting of the Lions Club will be held m o n d a y night to plan several proposed programs. Mrs. Max H e i f n e r is the new president of the Advance Club of Jamestown. She will take over the ga­ vel wh e n the club resumes its meetings in October after a spring and summer break following the meeting March Kay’s Bus Pals Mark Birthday Those enjoying a birthday party for Kay Ardelle Green on Feb. 24, were her friends who r i d e with her on the Church of Christ bus.
