Mrs. Lina Knox has returned home after spending the past six weeks with her brother, John Malone of Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Noah Knisley were the dinner guests Sun­ day with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Windon of Springfield. They also called on Mr. Knisley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knisley of South Solon. Mrs. He n r y Knisley has been ill for the past few days. The place for die Mothers of Twins Club party has been changed from the h om e of 4rs. The dinner was inhonor of Mrs. Talbotts and Mrs. Smith's birthday. F r i e n d s of Mrs. Dawson S m i t h called on her from Vandalia. Mrs.Sijiith is also on the sick list. Mrs. Roy Swaney was brought to her home from G r e e n e Memorial Hospital Sunda y where she had been a patient for treatment. A group of young people of the Friends church enjoyed a s k a t i n g party at Hodges Skating Rink in Springfield Tuesday evening.
