Sontag, director of the I Fels R e s e a r c h Institute for the Study of Human Devel­ opment, has stated. ; "There are, first of all, in the schools children who are b r i g h t but who are not a c­ complishing. There are also c h i l d r e n who, because of their own emotional discom­ fort, are e x p r e s s i n g their hostility in aggression and 'disruption to the detriment of the school and the staff of the school. " T h e r e are parents whose lives and h ome s are made much less satisfying by ag­ gression, withdrawal, or de­ linquent behavior on the part of their children. "There are children them­ selves who see the world as a h o s t i l e and threatening environment which frightens t h em and which they must fight. "There are the members of the medical profession who are frustrated because of their inability to relieve this par­ ticular kind of discomfort on th e pa r t of p a r e n t s with troubled children. Then finally there are the law e n f o r c e m e n t officers with the problem of juvenile delinquency in a county not big e n o ug h to have a full scale juvenile court with the psychiatric s o c i a l workers necessary to handle problems of these juveniles. These law e n f o r c e m e n t officers are forced, not through lack of s ymp a t h y but through the lack of facilities, to handle problems of delinquency in ways that are not optimally effective. " F o r e a c h o f these: the school, the parent, the child himself, the medical doctor, and the c o u r t official, the proposed c*t i n ie is a source of understanding, profession­ al aid. " In addition to his position a t F e l s , Dr . Sontag is a member of the Department of Psychiatry of the Medical Faculties of the University of Louisville, and the Uni­ versity of Cincinnati. He has had special training in child Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University. The film to be shown, "The God of Creation, ” explains in interesting, easy-to -un­ derstand language, the mar­ v e l s of astronomy, natural science and the microscopic world. Awe-inspiring scenes disclose the size and number of the heavenly bodies. The hand of God in nature is demonstrated by photo­ synthesis, the my s t e r i o u s food-manufacturing process that takes place within the tiny cells of leaves. Fascin­ ating lapse-time photography shows buds becoming full­ blown b l o s s oms in a few seconds. By means of ingenious pho­ tomicrography, the fabulous r e a l m beneath the micro­ scope is brought into view .. living organisms which in­ habit that world are enlarged millions of times. T h e r e is no a dm i s s i o n charge and the public is in­ vited to attend. Russell Mason is slowly im ­ p r o v i n g at his home, near Bowersville. Death came suddenly Sun­ day to Harvey Boysel, 74, of Springfield who is the brother of Lee Boysel of Jamestown. Mr. Boysel was s t r i c k e n while in his daughter's auto­ mobile and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born the son of Hen­ ry and Sarah Patton Boysel on Feb. 14, 1883 at South Charleston. He had resided in Springfield for the past 30 years.__________________ Miss Emma Aremtrout of Por t William is in critical condition, while her sister, Louorva Aremtrout was re­ admitted to Clinton Hospital with a heart condition.
