GIRL—Born last Tuesday at Haines Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. James Lorenzo, 164 Hill Street, Xenia. She weighed six pounds and 12 ounces and has been named Katherine Sue. Plans for the flower show at the Greene County Fair were ma d e l a s t week as the 17 clubs of the Greene County Federation of Garden Clubs met at Xenia. Among appointments made by Mrs. Royal J a c k s o n of Fairborn, the federation pre sident, were J a m e s t o w n ’s Verde-Ja and Multi Flora as co-chairmen of the passing irrangemet Verde-Ja and Multi Flora as co-chairmen of the passing arrangements for the exhibits. Meanwhile, another con s e r v a t i o n poster contest is being sponsored by the fed eration with the aid of the conservation o f f i c e . Fifth and s i x t h grade students in the county schools will take part. I n c l u d e d in the planning committee to meet with the conservation office were the Jamestown Garden Club and the G r e e n e Cedar Garden Club. It was announced that the next meeting of District 16, wh i c h met l a s t month at Jamestown, would be at the First Me t h o d i s t Church at Wilmington on April 11. Cedar Officers Of WSCS Off to Detroit Meeting Mrs. Da v i d Reynolds and Mrs. Wilbur Wisecup, Cedar- v i l l e , and Mrs. Paul Irey, X e n i a , left We dn e s d ay morning for Detroit, M ich., to attend the North Central Jurisdiction meeting of the WSCS. The meeting will be held in the Central Metho dist Church in Detroit. These women are officers of the Wilmington District of the Ohio Conference. Sagraves Host 2-H Bible Class The 2-H Bible Class of the CedarvilleUnited Presbyter ian Church met at the home ofMr. and Mrs. Alva Sagraves Saturday evening.
