"Spring Tonic" is the theme of the J a m e s t o wn Garden Club’s Spring flower show to be staged on Wedne s da y , Ap r i l 24, in the parlors of the J a m e s t own Methodist Church with the Multi-Flora and Verde-Ja Garden Clubs as guest organizations. Members answered roll call with an unusual tree. The business meeting was con ducted by president, Mrs. R. L. Haines. The program consisted of "Salute to the Trees" by Mrs. Grover Tobin and "Origin of the Tulip Tree" by Mrs. Ralpli Geis. Mrs. H.D. Fairley prepared an arrangement, "Spring at Last, " which was a crescent arrangement. Mrs. Ha r o l d Lewis brought flower speci mens of tulips and narcissus. The group enjoyed a plant exchange.
