The Rams started the run produc­ tion o ff in the second inning - with 2 and were never scored upon until the sixth when Port W illiam c a m e across w i t h just 1. Then in the bottom of the same inning, Greene­ view scored three more runs off three consecutive hits by Edwards, Sesslar, andBradds. The only hit for Port W illiam was pounded out by Donnie Fields, while the big hit of the game was a double b y Bus F e r g u s o n . LEGAL NOTICE ORDINANCE NO. 1-1957 TO LEVY SPECIAL ASSESS­ MENTS TO CONSTRUCT SANITARY SEWERS IN ELM STREET AND CEDARVILLE PIKE, IN THE VILLAGE OF JAMESTOWN, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF JAMESTOWN, GREENE COUNTY, OHIO; SECTION 1. That the assess­ ment o f the cost and expense o f constructing sanitary sew­ ers in Elm Street and Cedar­ v ille Pike, in the V illage of Jamestown, Ohio, heretofore reported to this Council by the V illage Clerk, notice of the filing o f which assess­ ment has been given as re­ quired by law, be and the same is hereby levied and assessed upon all o f the lots and lands in the V illage of Jamestown, Ohio, as set forth therein, the several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments, together w i t h the description o f said lots and lands are now on file in the o ffice of the Clerk o f this Council, and which assess­ ments are in proportion to the tax value o f the property assessed, and are not in ex­ cess o f any statutory or con­ stitutional limitation. SECTION 2. That the total assessment against each lot , or parcel o f land shall be payable in cash within thirty days from and after the pass­ age o f this ordinance, or, at the option o f the owner, in twenty annual installments with interest at the same rate [as shall be borne by the bonds ■to be issued in anticipation o f the collection o f the same. A ll cash payments shall be made to the Treasurer o f said V illa ge. A ll assessments and installments thereof remain­ ing unpaid at the expiration o f said thirty days shall be certified by the Clerk o f this Council to the County Audi­ tor; as provided by law, to be by him placed1on the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are collected. SECTION 3. That this or­ dinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation o f the p u b l i c peace, health, safety and welfare o f the inhabitants of the V illage o f Jamestown, in said construction o f sewers in said streets o f the village, and shall take effect immed­ iately upon its passage.
