She was 80. Mrs. Smith, the wife of An derson A. Smith, was born in Pike County and- had been a resident of C e d a r v i l l e 20 years. She was a member of the Christian Church at Har mon, Ohio. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five child ren, Hobart and Ernest Smith of Cedarville, Ava Smith of Mt. S t e r l i n g , Mrs. Leo Powe l l of Wilmington and Mrs. Howard Beathardof Lon-. tlor.l a sister, Mrs. Nora John son of Ogden, 111, , three half-brothers and a half-sis- burial in Cedarville's North Cemetery. Mrs. McDonald Claimed at 85 Mrs. Emma Gordon McDon ald, ill since December, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday in her Adams street home in James town. She was 85 and had lived the past year with her daughter and son, Mrs. Ruth Humston and Ralph McDon ald. Mrs. McDonald was a mem ber of the Church of Christ in Xenia. Other survivors are a second daughter, Mrs. Mary Sargent of G1a d s t o n e, six grandchildren and 12 great - ter, 14 grandchildren and 14 grandchildren. He had been ser iously ill for three months. The former Cedarville re- sident was born May 17, 1877, at Lovelace, O. He was a G r e e n e County farmer for many years before moving to Springfield five years ago. He was a m e m b e r of the Springfield Lutheran Church. Surviving are t h r e e sons, James E. of Chicago, Ralph L. of Springfield, and Robert ments for the work shop show. Kay Dean, a guest, was the judge.
