Cl-earn bupter and )iugar, add whole beaten egg, mix, add apples- sauce, add raisins, alternately with dry mixture. Sift dry ingredients and add, beaten untill smooth. Bake in a loaf at 325 degrees for about oric hoUr and twenty minutes. Sug gestions; strain applesauce to avoid lumps, wash drain and dry raisins to remove sticky element and roll lightly in flour, Use pan approxi mately 5''x9”. Sewing contest consists of cotton kitchen curtains, any style for adults over 21. Cotton duster, a type of house coat for young ladies 21 or under. Cotton "squaw” (tiered) skirt for misses 10 to 14 inclusive There will also be a hooked rug contest. Grange members are asked to please take part in these contests. Prizes will be awarded to the winn ers. Refreshments will be served.
