A 5 to 37 percent cut for adult pollcyhoktors was announced to day by Henry C. Bankerd, local re presentative of the Farm Bureau Mutual Automobile Insurance com pany, the largest insurer of cars in Ohio. The reduction will take effect March 1, At the same time the company will lower collision rates for men drivers under 25 years old 5 to 29 percent, he said. Women drivers under 25, however, will receive the same reductions ns adults since the company recently rc-classificd girl youthful drivers as adults risks. “The cut in collision rates is possible,'' he explained, “because Greene County policyholders are turning in fewer claims now. The drop in claims frequency, despite a rise in repair prices, has lessened the drain on our claims dollars,” The company, which last month announced it would change its name to Nationwide on September 1, Is giving substantial reductions to all Ohioans who hold its collision pol icies on passenger cars, according to Mr. Bankerd.
