missionary endeavor are never finally and completely reached. There is always something beyond our present achievements to which we must move if we are to stay alive. VI. CONCLUSION A study of our Baptist Heritage should encourage us to be Biblical in a day when men are rebelling against authority; faithful when persecution for the faith seems near at hand; separated from entangling alliances when the ecumenical church seems about ready to engulf all of Christianity; loyal to our country in a time when patriotism is out of date; and missionary at heart when the concern for the lost is waning.
