Ordained mlinister of the Parish of Balmaghie, 1701. Accepted pastorate of the United Societies, 1706, which office he laboriously discharged for forty-seven years. Died at Broomhill, Bothwell, 1753. Buried in Dalserl Churchyard. A Covenanter of the Covenanters, a father of the Reformed Presbyterian Church, a faithful minister of Jesus Christ.” Dalserl Churchyard, in which John MacMillan is buried.
