Martha's Sabbath Lessons

15 MARTHA’S SABBATH LESSONS Christian heroism July 19, 1891 Scripture: Acts 20:24 “But I consider my life of no value to me, if only I may finish my course and complete the ministry I have received from the Lord Jesus—the ministry of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Martha’s Thoughts: “Subject of text Is Christian heroism. Paul would not allow any difficulties to hinder him in his work. In the work and warfare of life we meet with discouragements – and we are often so depressed that in order to go forward we need the courage and heroism of Paul. We have a work to do for our selves for our family for our neighbors and if we expect to finish our course with joy we must work while it is to day – for the night will soon be here –” Remember: We must work with Christian courage and joy today even in the face of trials.
