Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Martha’s Thoughts: “There is a blessing in these words for us. Hard labour and heavy burdens seem to be the lot of mankind – In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread all the days of thy life. The cares of life makes a heavy load for very many people. There is unrest every where and in every heart – and there is not rest to be found only at the foot of Jesus – It is there we can lay our burdens down – and find rest –” Remember: The world and our lives are filled with unrest, but we can find rest in Jesus.
