Martha's Sabbath Lessons

29 MARTHA’S SABBATH LESSONS What will you do with Jesus? March 26, 1893 Scripture: John 18:38: “Pilate saith unto him. What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.” Martha’s Thoughts: “Jesus before Pilate—Envy is a malignant passion and keeps no holidays There come a time in every life when we are cornered and must do something with Jesus. He will trouble you if you do not decide this matter wisely he will trouble you. What will you do with Jesus will you take him or will you turn him over to some one else. There is only one way to do with Jesus so that he will not trouble you and that is for you to take him into your heart and accept him as your Saviour. We notice that when Jesus was before Pilate that he did not look at Jesus but Jesus looked at Pilate. Let us never forget that Jesus is looking at us – let us look at him. No matter where we are let us never forget that we can not get away from Jesus – he is looking at us he follows us with his eye – let us seek his blessing and guidance. Christ comes to every life and gives them great opportunities of loving and accepting him & serving him.” Remember: “There is only one way to do with Jesus so that he will not trouble you and that is for you to take him into your heart and accept him as your Saviour.” Submitted by: Lynn A.
