[)[AN g N John 15:16, our Lord Jesus Christ said, "..... but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that Y.e should go and bring forth fruit 11 • In response to His call young men and women have dedicated their lives to Him and have come to B. B. l. for training in the Word of God, that they may be able to go forth and 11 bear much fruit 11 (John 15:8). . To be able to instruct our students and to tram them to be true and faithful servants of the Lord requires much more than can be taught 11 in the words which man 1 s wisdom teacheth 11 • The deeper things of God can be taught and understood only in the words 11 which the Holy Ghost teacheth 11 (l Corinthians 2:13). Every hour of class work is a challenge to us and we are completely dependent upon Him to guide us. 11 Now we have received....the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God 11 (l Corinthians 2:12). Challenged by our obligation for the sacred trust of young lives committed to us in prep– aration for the glorious ministry of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, we respond with a re– newed dedication to the faithful discharge of Paul I s commission, 11 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be abl~ to teach others also 11 (H Timothy 2:2). Therefore, as we think of our alumni, our graduation class of 1953, and all our present and former students of B. B. I., we praise God that we can stand with confidence and joy before the Lord, knowing that 11 by their fruits ye shall know them 11 (Matthew 7:20).
