Officers of dministration - .,,_ PRESIDENT and ACTING DEAN .•. KENNETH A. AMSLER " fiF thou .... searchest for her as for c.J hid treasures; then shalt thou under– stand... and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord giveth WISDOM" (Proverbs 2:4-6). Reading and studying, gathering in– formation, and acquiring knowledge does not guarantee true wisdon. You may be acquainted with facts; you may understand certain theories and yet not perceive truth or experience reality. Many have grad– uated from college without obtaining true wisdom. I once heard a college president say that "research should be hindered. ' · He pointed out the possible errors in the scientific method of research and showed how the premises could be faulty, the evidence insufficient and the conclusion hasty and erroneous. The "open mind" may be open to evidence but closed to truth. The "open mind" may also in– dicate an "empty head." If one has not found reality, he is neither dogmatic or prejudiced. The eternal verities, the spiritual realities, the divine absolutes, yea, the wisdom of God are known only through divine revelation and supernatural regeneration. If you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, if you continue in His Word, if you enroll in His school and really learn Him, then you will hear Him say, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." See John 8:31, 32. "In (Christ) are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. " (Col. 2:3). God gives men wisdom as He gives them gold; His treasure house is not a mint, but a mine. We must dig deep into the wealth of the Word to obtain real wisdom. And pos– sessing it, we must use it wisely by sharing this wealth even to the ends of the earth! A wise man's hour is worth more than a fool ' s entire lifetime. May the Class of '52 and all the sons and daughters of B. B. I. know and use the wis– dom of God! · -~ Vice President Secretary Treasurer Registrar • DONALD MacDONALD WINONA EVANS ALLAN LEWIS JOHN BENNETT 8
