\ ~\ \ \ "goR the Lord giveth WISDOM; out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. " Proverbs 2:6 One of the salient characteristics of men is the innate desire to gain knowledge and understanding. Tremendous strides in all fields of science have only sharpened this de– sire, and have opened wider and deeper fields of exploration. When scientists probe into new realms of discovery they are merely touching the cover of God's Word of Wis– dom. There is no conflict between true science and the Bible. Knowledge and understand– ing, given in the Bible, are as high above the attainments of men as the heavens are above the earth. The glory of knowing the Source of all wisdom is reserved for those who are recon– ciled to God through personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We of the Baptist Bible Institute appreciate and lovingly thank our Lord for opening our eyes to the wondrous truths permeating the blessed Book. How precious it is to grow in knowledge and understanding of our Lord. Our hearts rejoice as "we press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." We know that our path leads into the city of God where some golden daybreak, we shall know as we are known. We shall see Him, who is our Wisdom, face to face. 4
