Simple Gospel Approach A tudy of the criptures will re– veal that the ' ' imple go pel ' ap– proach is in trict contradiction to the clear teaching of the Word of God. A ri sen, soon-to-ascend Lord taught Hi disciples to "disciple ' - cau ed them to learn of the Lord Je u Christ , and then to 'baptize' , tho e whom they discipled, and then to teach them "all thing whatsoever I h ave commanded you according to Matt. 28 : 18-20. I n Acts 20:26-27 an in p ired P aul reminded the Ephesian elders that he h ad ' 'not shunned to declare unto them the whole counsel of God. (Jo5h. 24: 15. ) The 24th ch apte r of Jo hua reveal that both I r ael and Joshua "willed" to erve the Lord. The Biblical r ecord reveals that on1 1 Jo hua paid or fulfilled his vow unto the Lord. In their words we sum up our "direction." As we will to do His Will ," (John 7: 17 ) and commit our- elves in heart will and mind t o the propo ition of walking in the ]igh.1 with the Lord th at He, our blesse<l Lord will work in us both to tvill anc to do of Hi good pleasure," (Phil 2 : 12~ 13. ) Thi , of cour e , i th< effect of which a life nurtured ir the truth of the Word of God i th( ca11se .
