Meeting Held At Fostoria Church The Mary and Martha Mi sii.onary Circles of the Fo toria Baptist Church entertained the women of the Fos– toria church and surrounding church– e at their annual alad Bar, Tuesday, rebruary 13th. Over 100 women enjoyed the fel- low hip as alads, brought by each woman pre ent, were erved buffet tyle with coffee, tea, crackers and cake. Repre ented in the group were wo– men from ortbside Bapti t Church, Lima: Fir t Baptist Church, Bowling Green: Calvary Baptist Church, Find– lay: Calvary Bapti t Church , Tiffin; and the Fostoria Baptist Church. After the ocial hour the group met in the church anotuary. Mr . James Fleming led the congregational sing– ing with Mrs. Ray Burk at the organ. Allen Vine led in prayer and a duet •• ' ·Tell Me More" was sung by Mrs. Burk and Mr . Fleming with Miss Judy Vine at the piano. The peak.er of t he evening was Mr . Karl Luyben of DaJton, who with her husb,and and fami,1y, served under Baptist Mid-Missions as mis- ionaries to Liberia. She read Scrip– ture, using John 14: 1-6, stating that many f ind real pleasure in this pro– mi e of a home in Heaven. She warned the group of the im– portance of not 1becoming too sati - fied in our own salvaition and urged that there should be concern that tho e around us and in all parts of the world be told the GoS1pel as pre– sented in John 14: 6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." Mrs. Luyben then presented slides con– cerning the ir work in Liberia.
