FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, BOWLING GREEN - Recent speakers in our church have been Rev. Thomas Loper of Cedar– ville College, Rev. George Zinn and Rev. Earl Umbaugh. Pastor Stewart has resigned and is now serving the Lord at the West Chicago Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan. C ALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, BUCYRUS - We were able to give a love offering of $1100 to Miss Janet Wolfe prior to her leaving for missionary service in Brazil , S .A. We no,v have a lovely new library filled with some very \vonder– ful books. CEDAR HILL BAPTIST CHURCH, CLEVELAND - Our missionary, Rev. William Van– derground (BMM-Africa) is to un– dergo open heart surgery on Septem– ber 29. ) As of this ,vriting, the opera– tion is yet future. By the time our magazine is in the mail, it will be past.) We urge folk to pray for this dear soldier of the cross and his loved ones. Another of our missionaries, Dr. Roland Snearly (BMM-Africa) is critically ill. He was flown home to St. Luke's Hospital, Cleveland on August 30. Let us be in prayer for this dear brother as well. HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - We were privileged to hear Miss Lois Wantoch tell of her work in Columbia, S.A. among the Ticuna Indians. We have helped in the sup– port of this missionary for some four years. The Tom Williams family were with us just prior to their leaving for their first term in Africa. IMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - Missionaries Mr. and Mrs. Ernst (ABWE) along with their children \\'ere with us. They are looking for– ward to serving the Lord in New Guinea. We also had Jim and Carol Ruck (BMM) who are preparing to go to Japan. One of our members, Miss Annette Clark presented a piano recital at the church and again at Alford Memorial Auditorium, Cedar– ville College, Cedarville, Ohio. ABBE ROAD BAPTIST CIIURCH, ELYRIA - We recently called Rev. David Dunkin to serve as our pastor. He previously ministered at the Faith Baptist Church in Fairless Hills, Pa. Our church had a surprise celebra– tion for Pastor and Mrs. Dunkin on their 25th wedding anniversary. On Sept. 26, we had a "Home Coming' ' Sunday at which time we Jedicated our lovely new auditorit1rn. Dr. Kenneth Muck of F.B.H.M. was the guest speaker. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, ELYRIA - The Fellowship of Baptists for Home Missions held their annual Mis– sionary Candidate School in our church during September. We are planning a Father I Son Retreat at Sky View Ranch for October 15 and 16. The ministry of Interim Pastor, Rev. James Grier of Cedarville College is providing rich blessing. FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH, GALLIPOLIS - The first Sunday of September marked our first anniversary of the ground breaking for our cht1rch. We praise the Lord for all He has done for us! \Ve are looking forward to having Evangelist Carlyle Scott with us for special meetings this month.
