GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH, LONDON - We praise the Lord for our lovely new organ. It greatly enhances our services. Rev. Kenneth Andrus of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Springfield, Ohio will be with us on October 10 as the featured organist when we dedicate this instrument "unto the Lord." Our Vacation Bible School proved a blessing. An offering was taken which was given to the Bap- ' tist Children's Home in Valparaiso, Indiana. BEREAN BAPTIST CHURCH, MARION - We praise the Lord for our new pastor, Rev. Wm. Moser. Recently he ministered at the Shadyrest Bible Con– ference in Chesterfield, New Jersey. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, NEW LONDON - Our Sunday School reached 349 just recently. Souls are being saved ... even in our prayer meeting services. At our Homecoming on Oct. 3, we celebrated our 153rd anniversary at which time we burned our mortgage. · Rev. Harold Dame will be ministering at our Family Bible Conference, Oct 20-24. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, NILES - Recent speakers to minister in our church have included Missionary Mrs. Gershon, Rev. Tim Hoak, Rev. George Finch and Rev. Orbin Morrison. We continue to look to the Lord to lead us to the man of His choosing to be our pastor. BIBLE MISSION BAPTIST CHURCH, OTSEGO - The Lord blessed in our Autumn evangelistic meetings. Evangelist Zel– f red Smith was the preacher for these meetings. POLAND VILLAGE BAPTIST CHURCH- We formally dedicated our new church auditorium and educational facilities. Dr. Joseph Stowell, Nation– al GARBC Representative spoke at this special occasion challenging us to do exploits for our Lord. T EMPLE BAPTIST CHURCH, P ORTSMOUTH - Recent speakers include Rev. Frank Buckley, Rev. Wilbur Parrish, Dr. H. 0. Van Gilder and Rev. David ... aylor. Our meetings with Brother Buckley and those with Dr. Reginald Matthews were blessed by the Lord. THE OHIO INDEPENDENT BAPTIST BLESSED HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH, SPRINGFIELD - Missionaries Tom and Sherry Yeater of Evangelical Baptist Mission told us of their work recently. We are looking to the Lord to bless in our Fall Evan– gelistic meetings with Editor-Evangel– ist Don Moffat. Special music during the meetings will be presented by Mrs. Peggy Bush of Bellefontaine, Ohio. On September 19th we had a special dedication service of our new musical instruments. Mr. Jack Payne, assist– ant professor of music at Cedarville College teamed up with Pastor Andrus presenting solo and duet numbers. GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH, SUNBURY - Recently Brother Jim Carr of the Conversion Center in Columbus told us of his work. Rev. Jerry Smelser ministered here on Sept. 26. The Swordbearers of Cedarville College were in charge of our Adult Class, as well as, Sunday morning and even– ing services. Pastor Holmes held special meetings at Minford, Ohio, Oct. 3-10. BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH, TOLEDO - Recent speakers include Mr. Ronald Mayers of Grand Rapids Baptist Bible College, our State Missionary Rev . Earl Umbaugh and Mr. Robert Barnett of Grand Rapids Seminary. Dr. James T. Jeremiah of Cedarville College will be with us in October. In November we will be having special evangelistic meetings with Evangelist Paul Dixon . FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH, VAN WERT - Our pastor, Rev. Marvin L. Engle has accepted a call to the Calvary Baptist Church in Niagara FalJs, New York. He completed his ministry here on Sept. 12. GRACE BAPTIST CttURC~ , WESTLAKE - Missionaries Willard and Grace Stull were with us in September. The Stulls are veteran missionaries serving the Lord under A.B.W.E. in Brazil, South America. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, WILLOWICK - - Rev. L. Crotts of the Hebrew a.nd Christian Society was with us for our Sunday School Rally Day. As we look to the future, we anticipate bless– ing through our Missionary Confer– ence. EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, XENIA - We have just purchased a lovely new organ for our church auditorium. Our Xenia Christian Day School has an enrollment of 147 students. We now have five full grades including a class for those who are of pre-school age. Missionary Lyle Culbertson (Chile, S.A.) told us of his anticipated work. You Might Try This A holiday Sunday does not have to find the church pews vacant. In– stead of your going to the relatives, have the relatives come to you. The Pastors of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Toledo, Ohio, led the way for their people by inviting their Moms and Dads to the July 4th Sunday Service. So did many of the folks in the congregation, and the results - 698 in Sunday School, 471 in church, and 659 in the evening service with decisions in all services. Why not try it!!
