Cedarville College News ... An official host and /1 ostess clL1b, Pi Delta, wa recentl y organized on the Cedarville College campus. Be- ides serving a tour guides for all visi tors and pro pective students, the club members will a l o we lcome fresh– men during new student week in the fall. Advisor to the group is Director of D evelopment , Mr . Lee Turner. The Cedarville College choir will spend two weeks, March 15-26, shar– ing their music with audiences in northern IIJinois and Michigan. Under the direc tion of David Mat– son, music department chairman, the group wi ll pertorm a wide ra nge of music. Traditional works by such men as George Frederick H andel , Heinrich Schuetz and Felix Mendels– sohn will be presented. From the con– temporary period, the " Redeemer ," a coll ection of songs about the person of J esus Christ , will be sung. Mr. John Hu111 inik, a n1an who lived for six years as a counterspy for the F.B.I. , appeared as part of the J anuary 15th, Cedarville College Artist Lecture Series . His extraordinary story began in 196 1, when Huminik, at the urging of the F.B.l . Jet himself be recruited as a spy by a member of the Russian En1bassy. Thi s unique insight into the world of espionage was a most interest ing and informative experience for the college community. A step forward in con1pletion of the new science center on the Ced.a r– vi)le College campus, Phase I, restor– a tion work on the present science building began in November . With the new complex, ,vhich is to be lo– cated west of the college library, the present building will be devoted en– tirely to biological science. Indianapolis, St. Louis and Wash– ington , D. C. will be just three c ities to be visited by the Cedarville College Swordbear ers during their spring tour, March 15-26. For the first time in hi story, Sword– bearers plan to send two different groups to mini ster to churches during their spriJ?g trip . The Eastern group of 12, pl ans to be in churches in the Virginia, Washing ton, D . C. and cen– trz l PennsyJ,,ania area. The second team of 15 will travel to the Indiana– polis, Chicago and St. Louis areas.
