The lord gave us a great time this summer at our special Promotion Day and Rally Day se rvices . GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH, WESTLAKE - At a recent baptismal service, a man 92 years of age was immers ed . Pastor Ra lph Burns said that only th is once in his e ntire ministry has a person of this age ever been ba pt ized! James Phipps (Ceda rvi lle College), The Sword– bearers (Cedarville Col lege) and Rev . Donald Crisp. Specia l meetings were held August 7-13 a t which our brother, Rev. Ga ry Norris spoke. We continue to look t o the l ord to le ad us to the right man to become our pastor FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, WILLOWICK - Dr . Roy Thon1pson spoke recen t ly at our Church Wor kers Banquet . As a church we have ca lled Mr . Philip Vine (Arcanum, Ohio) to serve as our Church Youth and Music Di– recto r. Brother Vine is now on the field and serving in this capacit y . Rev . J ack Leming from England ministered here recently. His minis– try was blessed by the Lord . We will be hold– ing our Missionary Confe rence October 15-18. EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, XENIA - We were pleased to have Rev. Ri cha rd Mc intosh of Cedarvill e College and Missionary Ben Kendricks (BMM- Centra l African Repub– lic) minister to us while our Inte rim Pastor, Rev . James Grier, was away on vacation. Also, one of our members , Mr . George Ham– blin, as well as Rev . Howa rd Leighton was with us . Our Xenia Chris t ian Day School opened in September with a lmost 150 st u– dents .
