Parsonage Dedicated Award Presented .. The Sharon Baptist Church, Sharon, Pennsylvania re– cently held a special dedication service for their new par– sonage. The service, which was held in the church, was one of blessing. Rev. Earl Umbaugh was the special speaker for this occasion. The service was followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments at the new parsonage. The AWANA program in the South Lima Baptist Church is proving most successful. Recently "the Timothy Award" was presented to Miss Elizabeth McCall, a mem– ber of the AWANA Club. This lovely new home is carpeted throughout. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a bath off the master bedroom. It has a spacious living room, dining room and a large kitchen with all the built-ins. The cost was approximately $29,000. It was constructed in a period of about three months. It is a beautiful and comfortable home. We have just returned from seeing the doctor concerning our "broken leg". He has removed the large full length cast (toes to top of leg) and in its place has given us a much smaller one. This goes from just below the knee to the toes. It is much easier to get around, however, we still must rely on crutches and will be doing so for a long time to come. We are to wear this cast at least five more weeks (we've already worn a cast for seven weeks!) and after that will have to wear a full length leg brace. It appears as though we will have to wear this brace the rest of our days. With this type of brace, one must also use chutches to get about. HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT! We praise Him for the many dear friends who have written words of encouragement and are thankful, too, for those who are remembering us in prayer. Having to navigate about on crutches does not hinder our preaching in the least! God, in grace, permits us to continue traveling about declaring His Word! We have recently held meetings in Stryker, Ohio - Miami, Florida and Tallmadge, Ohio. The Lord blessed in all three of these places. He is THE FAITHFUL GOD! By the time our readers have this JULY issue of the O.I.B. , Mrs. Moffat and will have attended the GARBC conference in Kansas City, Missouri . Immedi– tely following this conference we will be having a bit of a vacation in Mexico ity, Mexico. We hope to be back home in Xenia, Ohio on July 17th. During he remainder of July and for most of August (aside from preaching on Sundays) e will be stayi ng close to home. We are to see our doctor again on July 23rd.
