CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, ASHLAND - On Sunday, June 20, Rev. James Dersha~ Ex . Dir. of the Fellowship of Baptists for Home Missions, was with us for both ser– vices. He spoke as a representative of the mission. His ministry was a blessing to our church. AVON BAPTIST CHURCH - Our Mother I Daughter banquet proved a t ime of blessing to our ladies. Miss Beverly Jane Curtis (BMM - Hawa ii) presented her work at a Sunday Evening service . BEREA BAPTIST CHURCH - Seven of our young people recently visited Fa ith Baptist College in Ankeny, Iowa . The ladies of our chu rch greatly enjoyed their Mother/ Daughter banquet . We praise the lord for the increase real ized in our Sunday School. Rev . Richard Durham (ABWE - Phil– ippine Islands) ministered here on June 1Oth. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, BLANCHESTER Rev. Ron Meznar (ABWE - Braz il) was with us for two days in early June . Also, "The Jubilaires Quartet" presented special music on June 17th. We had a good Va– cat ion Bible School. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH , BOWLING GREEN - A f ilm entitled-"A New Love For Candy" was shown at our Mother/ Daughter banquet. Rev. and Mrs. Mark Chandler (ABWE - Japan) were with us in June. Our Vacat ion Bi ble School was held June 18-22. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, BUCYRUS - Three schoo~ presented musical programs here recently. They were singing groups from Tennessee Temple, Grand Rapids Bap– tist Bible College and Bob Jones University. Evangelist Harry Trover will be with us for special meetings this Fall. We recently viewed the film - 1 1 TV and THEE" at one of our Sunday evening services. Rev. Perry Temple (Ex. Secretary - Bible literature International) spoke on June 3rd and Miss Lucille Brouillet (BMM) was guest speaker at our Women's Missionary Union. CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, CHILLICOTHE - A new public address system has been in– stalled in our sanctuary and nursery. We have planted 42 small pine trees around our church and on the adjoining hillside. Th is greatly enhances the church's appearance. The Lord is blessing our work here. BROOKSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH, CLEVELAND - Our women held a Mother I Daughter Salad Buffet. The theme was centered around the nation of Israel ' s 25th anniversary. Miss Carolyn Renner was guest speaker for this • occasion. CLINTONVILLE BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS We held a special banquet honoring our graduates from Hig h School and College . Rev . Harold Green (Cedarville College) spoke at this ban(!uet. Also, a musical trio (Ced ar– ville College) presented the special music. Our annual Mother I Daughter Tea proved to be a time of precious fellowsh ip and blessing. HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - Mrs . Ellen Hornbrook (BMM - Mexico) spoke to our women recently at thei r Mother/ Daughter banquet. Hearts were blessed through her ministry. Rev. Norman Street Berean Baptist Church, Flint, Michigan, was with us for our Bible Conference . Also, Rev. George Haberer (ABWE - New Guinea) spoke here. IMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - The Lord continues to bless our AWANA p rogram. Many boys and girls are being reached through this ministry. "The Con– q uerors" qua rtet and Dr. Robert Williams (faculty member of Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania) were with us on J une 10th. MARANATHA BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - The Cedarville Brass Ensemble, under the direction of Dr . Robert Monroe, presented an evening of music one Sunday in May. It proved a time of spiritual enjoyment. MEMORIAL BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - Mr. Ray Price, our Sunday School Super– intendent and " golf enthus iast", was suprised with a parade of students from our Junior Departme nt singing "Happy Birthday' ' and each one showering him with a golf ball!· Guest missionary during our Vacation Bible School was Miss Lill ian Burkhart (BMM - Central African Republic). Recent speakers include Dr. Cleveland McDonald (Cedarville Co ll ege) and Rev. Duane Gow (Trans World Radio). EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, DAYTON - A group of our people went to the Dayton Airport on 1./\ay 26th to welcome home - Missionaries - Rev. and Mrs. Carson Fremont and their family . (ABWE -. Hong Kong). Our pastor, Rev. Nile Fisher, has completed his 18th year pastoring this church. We praise the Lord for his fa ithful ministry and for the many who have been blessed through his declaring the Word.
