Well , for a moment think of the ma ny spiritual blessings which God ha given . God ent Hi Son to die for us . We have the Gospel , t li c in– dwelling H oly Spirit, the Bible the Word of Qod , the privilege of Pra~er , uncountable ble ings. Think of the tempora l side. We have preservation. provi ion, health strength , life, liberty, protection . Even our affliction can be u ed for thank giving by God in our lives . All compla ining is aga inst God. How grieved God must be a t our compl a ining. Think of your own feelings . If you have children and they compl ai n, how do you feel ? God's chosen peopl e, the childre n of I rael t1ad no wa ter . Then the wa ter provided wa bitter. They complained they had no food . God ...ent manna. We read , " they loa thed uch light food .' ' Li ten to this, " Even our trial and orrows a re wha t is be t for us . God knows. No ma tte r what our trouble, as believers, the Lord is in it . It is not because things are good tha t we a re to thank God but becau e H e is good. " The Psalmi t wrote , "No good thing wi ll God withhold from them tha t walk uprightl y.' ' Did you ever read the benefit P aim? Read Psalm 103 . HBle the Lord , 0 My oul , and forget not a ll H is benefits .' ' Li ten to Psalm 50: 23 , ··who o offereth pra ise glorifieth me .. ." Without pra ise a nd tha nk giving you do no t glorify God . God expects us to be thankful . He expects u to say, Htha nk you ... To the Be liever , the Christian, God say , " In eve rything give thank ,' ' "Giving thanks a lwa 1· . .. through our Lord Je u Christ .' ' The Psalmist closes hi writing wi th the e words: ' 'LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD.''
