These dear folk went to Africa in 1952 and work– ed among the Sera tribes of what was then French Equatorial Africa. l .. ater they moved to the Oubangui Cheri in Central African Republic. In 1960 they returned to C.A.R. to serve as house parents for 46 mis– sionary children at Crampel. Follow– ing this they moved to Bangui where Brother Ben became Business Man– ager for the Mission. Here a radio ministry was carried on and a Bible School started. Still later, in 1969, while back at Bangui they undertook the responsi– bilities of constructing the Bangui Baptist High School and a dormitory for the high school girls. The pages of the O .I.B. were used to help present this need. Many of our Ohio folk re– sponded and thus the need was met. "The Kendricks" are now making another move! Our brother has ac– cepted the position of Northern Depu– tation Secretary for Baptist Mid-Mis– sions. He will have his office at the Baptist Mid-Missions Headquarters -'+4205 Chester Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio - 44103. The Lord has blessed these dear folk with three children of their own - Pamela Ann, Peter and Paul. God has given Brother Kendricks a great burden for missions and mis– sionaries. He is an excellent speaker. His ministry could be one of blessing and challenge to our churches. In– terested pastors may contact him at the Cleveland address.
