NORTON BAPTIST CHURCH, BARBERTON - \/\le had very good evangelistic meetings with Evange list Paul Levin and Bl ind Singer Bob Findlay These men have worked to– gether in the field of evangelism for forty years. BEREA BAPTIST CHURCH - Three mission boards were represented during our 21st Annual Missionary Confer– ence. They were Baptist Mid-Missions (Rev. Gene Townes - Afr ica), Fellowship of Bap– tists for Home Missions - (Rev. Leslie Wells - Huntington, West Virginia) and the As– sociation of Baptists for World Evangelism (Dr. Richard Stagg - Bang ladesh). We were also privileged to have Dr . W. W. Welch of Grand Rapids Baptist College and Seminary. Our Mother I Daughter banquet was held May 14. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, BOWLING GREEN - We greatly enjoyed Dr . and Mrs. Stagg and the ir children at one of our Mid-week services. We held a Sunrise Service on Easter morning. Mr . and Mrs . Mark Chandler (ABWE - Japan) will be with us in June. We anticipate blessing through our Daily Vacation Bible School which will be held June 18-22. WHIPPLE AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH, CANTON - We were blessed through the ministry of Rev Nile Fisher (Emmanuel Baptist Church– Dayton) during our Bible Conference. We recently viewed the films - " Challenge To Witness" and " The Gospel Presentation". GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH, CARROLLTON - We recently extended a call to Brother Gary Scott of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to become our pastor. He felt led of the Lord to accept this call and is beginning his ministry here on Sunday, June 10th. Recently our Jun ior Hi Youth De– partment presented a very unique program ent itled "Grace Baptist Church - This Is Your Life." A Gideon representative spoke at one of our morning services. Also, t he Ceda rville College Choir presented a concert a t one of our evening services . CEDAR HILL BAPTIST CHURCH, CLEVELAND - Our choir, under the direction of Mr. Paul H. Matthews, presented John W. Peter– son's new Easter cantata entitled - EASTER SONG. Miss Kathi Cooper, talented young lady from Northfield Baptist Church, pre– sented an evening of music. On June 3rd, the "Va risty Ensemble" from the Baptist Christian School presented a 30 minute concert. CLINTONVILLE" BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - We were privileged to have Rev. Edward Greenwood, professor at Cedarville College minister here. Our pastor, Rev. George Hat– tenfield , ministered the Word at the North Side Gospel Center in Chicago, Illinois. Pastor Hattenfield is bringing a series of studies on " The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit' '. We praise the Lord for the way in which He is blessing our AWANA program! HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - Brothe r Ron Meznar (ABWE - Brazil) was with us for our Missionary Sunday. A special cantata entitled " The Gospel Song at Easter' ' was presented on Easter Sunday. We had a delightful time at our Mother/ Daughter banquet. Guest speaker for our special meet– ings in late May was Rev. Norman Street. IMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - Our choir presented the cantata - " Hallelujah, What A Saviour!" at our Easter evening service. We were privileged to hear "the Gearharts" (BMM - Sioux Indians) and Miss Janet Wolfe (BMM - Brazil). The Lord blessed in our evangelistic mee t ings with Bob Sumner. MARANATHA BAPTI ST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - The Cedarville College Brass Ensemble played at one of our Evening Services. Their ministry of music was one of blessing . MEMORIAL BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - Instead of the usual Mother/ Daughter Banquet, we honored our mothers by having a Mother/ Son Banquet. In June we will be having a Father/ Daughter Banquet . Our Daily Vacation Bible School w ill be held June 19-22. PINE HILLS BAPTIST CHURCH, COLUMBUS - - Our meetings w ith Evangelist Hugh Horner proved a great blessing . We recommend him highly to our churches. We saw good results from our " 30 pieces of silver" offering . We held our Mother/ Daughter banquet on May l lth . The Father/ Son banquet will be on June 9 . We now are using four buses and hope eventually to have two more. PLEASANT HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH, EAST LIVERPOOL The Lord truly is working in our church. We are seeing many souls saved and decis– ions made. Easter Sunday evening, thirteen new members were received into the church by baptism. We have formed a Youth Band. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, ELYRIA - Our Bible Conference with Dr . L. Duane Brown proved a blessing . We g reatly en– joyed the ministry of Dr. Allan Lewi s President of Baptist Mid-Missions. Recently we had over 600 in our Sunday School! EUCLID-NOTTINGHAM BAPTIST CHURCH, EUCLID Many decisions were made during our Missionary Conference. The "Presidents" of five of our Missions took part in the services. They represented Fellowship of Baptists for Home Missions, Hiawatha Baptist Missions, Evangelical Baptist Missions, Bapti st Mid– Missions and the Association of Baptist s fo r - World Evangelism. During the confe rence, Dr . John Moore of &otland brought evan– gelistic messages. CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, FINDLAY - Evange list Bill Rice was with us for specia l meetings and hearts were blessed. We antici– pate rich blessing in July when Evangelist Jack Van lmpe will be in Findlay for an evangelistic series. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, FINDLAY - Pre-Easter services were hel d with Rev. Robert Anthony of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Columbus as guest s peaker. Our young people conducted an Easte r Sunrise service which was followed by a light break– f a st.
