SPIRITUAL "For the Word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ"--our motto, and more than that, our way of life. At Cedarville we recognize the importance of the Word of God, knowing it and applying its principles to all that we do. Every student graduates with at least a minor in Bible, 24 quarter hours. We meet daily for chapel to hear the Word as it is preached by speakers from all walks of life. Area churches and our Campus Fellowship minister the Word to our college family in regular church services. Our stu– dents are voluntarily involved in Christian service activities that range from teaching Sunday school in detention homes to sharing the gospel on the beaches of Ft. Lauder– dale. Music and puppet teams travel on weekends to churches throughout the Mid– west. Each summer over fifty young people participate in our Missionary lntem:,hip Service, serving the Lord in unique ways on fields such as Hong Kong, Australia, Afri– ca, Brazil, China, and the Philippines. These and new ministries, begun by innovative students, reflect a student body that declares with the apostle Paul, "... I am not a~hamed of the gospel of Christ.... "
