ACADEMIC Our name, "Cedarville College, a Baptist College of Arts and Sciences," indicates that we provide a liberal arts education,, a Christian liberal arts education. We offer twenty,one major fields of study and a number of special programs, all designed to prepare you for the profession of God's leading. Our faculty, numbering over 70 godly men and women, is very special. Nearly half of them have earned doctorates. They come offering wisdom from a variety of backgrounds, and a number of them have over twenty years of teaching expe, rience. In fact, the average tenure of faculty is ten years. They are also a growing group, not just numerically but individually, through involvements in research projects, ministries, and publications. But best of all, they care about students. In a recent survey, the student body indicated that what they liked most-about Ce, darville College was the friendliness and helpfulness of the professors. Nearly 6,000 students have passed through our school in the past nine, ty,three years. We're proud of our alumni and their accomplishments. Cedarville graduates are currently involved in the pastorate, education, business, medicine, law, industry, government, communications, and counseling.
