I wanted to get into ministry and was looking for a place where I could fit in and develop relationships. When I visited, I knew Cedarville was my kind of place. I grew up going to church, but Cedarville has taken my faith to a new level. I’ve come to understand more why I believe what I believe. The Bible minor classes have forced me to grapple with real-world issues and have reinforced how my beliefs and actions need to line up with my biblical worldview. My professors have met me for coffee and spent time answering questions. One prof invited me to lead the youth program at his church. He gave me the reins and let me grow. Working at the church, I have seen what he teaches in class lines up with how he actually lives. Next year I will serve as SGA chaplain. On the surface, it’s not a job that appeals to my personality– speaking in front of 3,100 of my peers and being under the spotlight. But, it gives me the opportunity (and responsibility) to share what I am passionate about. I want SGA
