4 “Even though my brother attended Cedarville, I visited other colleges before I made up my mind. It was my meeting with Dr. Dennis Sullivan, director of the premed program, that sold me. He was so enthusiastic about biology and the sciences in general. He made it clear that Cedarville takes a stand on creation, and I appreciated that. Cedarville’s premed grads also have great success getting into medical school because of Cedarville’s academic reputation. It’s the professors who have had the most influence on my time here. They’re tough, and they make you think deeply. They address evolutionary arguments head-on and show you how the creationist perspective also explains the evidence. They are passionate about their subjects and are committed to helping you thoroughly understand the material. They are also men and women of character. They use every opportunity to point us to God through creation. Premed at Cedarville also has a strong ministry and missions focus. I don’t know where God will lead • Comprehensive academic offerings with more than 100 accredited programs of study • Top rankings at national academic competitions in business, engineering, forensics, debate, political studies, and more • Caring, Christian professors who excel inside and outside the classroom as authors, diplomats, doctors, engineers, social workers, teachers, and more • Recognition as one of the top universities in the Midwest by U.S.News & World Report, Princeton Review , and Peterson’s Competitive Colleges Minds for Truth Meet Jennifer Heiden me with medicine, but I’ll definitely consider missions. Beyond the academics, I’ve had so many fun experiences and made great friends at Cedarville. I came here not knowing a single soul, but dorm life, classes, and all the fun activities made it easy to feel comfortable.” The National Survey of Student Engagement ranked Cedarville top in the nation for providing a supportive campus environment for freshmen.
