These renewable scholarships range from $10,000 to $20,000 per year based on a student’s academic credentials. Qualifying GPA or standardized test scores (not required*) must be submitted by July 31. * Due to limited availability of standardized testing during the COVID-19 pandemic, Cedarville will not require a standardized test score for admission for students entering any term through spring 2023. NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS The University offers need-based scholarships to help cover students’ unmet financial need. Completion of the FAFSA is required. DEFORIA LANE DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP cedarville.edu/lanescholarship The Dr. Deforia Lane Diversity Scholarship is awarded annually to select undergraduate students seeking to enhance the Cedarville community through their personal experience and appreciation for racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity. STUDENT EMPLOYMENT cedarville.edu/studentemployment Approximately 1,700 students benefit from employment on campus. SCHOLARSHIPS BRIDGE THE GAP For fall 2021, all freshmen students received scholarships and were considered for other forms of financial aid based on completion of the FAFSA or other aid applications. Their average aid package included $20,150 in scholarships and grants. In addition to the Cedarville aid programs outlined in the chart below, many students offset their college costs using federal and state grants, student loans, outside scholarships, and campus employment.
