;s The Girls' Physical Education class, under the direction of Dorothy Anderson, meets two times a week for instruction in basketball, softball, volleyball, and various types of gymnastics. In the early fall, as much time was spent outdoors as the weather permitted. Many interesting hikes were taken and the beauties of nature in 1-he autumn were enjoyed. During the basketball season, we had scrimmages among ourselves and occasionally a tilt with the local High School girls. At these times, we were usually very badly beaten, but then, so were most of the other teams 1-hat met the High School team this year. On March 14, a good many of the girls went to Cincinnati where they participated in the "Play Day for College Girls." Our girls entered in volleyball, swimming, and basketball. GIRLS' GYNINAS‘IIUM The Girls' Gym Class of '36 extends to their physical director, Miss Dorothy Anderson, a vote of ttanks for her efforts to aid them in developing the physical side of their lives.
