One of the ministries thatthe Christian service department participates in is the Swordbearers.These teams consist of students with a desire to share the word of God. There are several permanent teams as well as teams that travel during spring break, and one that ministers during the summer. Their activities include: canvassing, ministering in local churches, singing, preaching, conducting seminars, and puppet shows for the benefit of the children. 152
