Despite the disappointing season via record, several individual achievements are worthy of recognition. The most prominent offensive player was first baseman Steve Sagraves,who was the only senior on the team. Sagraves hit .390 with eleven home runs. The eleven home runs broke a previous record of five. Sagraves was also selected for the All "The team, as a whole, broke the schoolrecord for the most home runs in a season(21)." Mid-Ohio Conference Team and the All District Team. Lamar Eiffert also sparked the team five teams with home runs. The team, as a whole,broke the school record for most home runs in a season (21). Defensively, Steve Cremean committed only 1 error in 118 attempts for a .992 fielding average. Jeff Dilley, Gary Mills, and Steve Sagraves were co-captains for the team.
