v.. el DRIVE 206 Golf oach Al Monroe had a young team to work with for the 1988 golf season. The team consisted of four freshmen and two seniors. But despite their youth, the team proved to be one of depth with two freshmen, a senior and a sophomore on second team. Coach Monroe was always able to put a team on the green that would play consistently. If the team's weakness was inexperience, its strength of depth and an increased competitive spirit marked it well also. The competitive edge does much for a team especially one that requires such "We were better than last year. We saw improvementand hope to see more(next year)." Coach Al Monroe concentration.
