1988 Miracle Yearbook

NOTES FROM THE £P/TOR DESK Pagga4 K. &dm, EtZet 0 n June4,1987,it all started. It wason that day that Mrs. Dixon confirmed my position as editor. But one editor alone cannot"create a MIRACLE." In September applications for staff positions were opened, bringing with it the miracle of the 1988 MIRACLE. Over forty students applied for sub-editor positions. The nine who were chosen proved to be the most diligent staff I have seen in my three years on staff. Only the Lord could have brought this group together. Over the next few months we would become bonded through 216 Miracle Staff retreats, trips, long working hoursand even crises. For their creativity and concern I am truly grateful. Between September of 1987 and October of1988,over3000 hours were spent planning, creating and proofing the 1988 MIRACLE. It was our mission to create a publication that culminated technical and literary excellence. But above all else, it was our desire that this creation honor and glorify our Creator and that it celebrate the difference that His presence can make in every man and woman's life.
