SGA Officers President: Scott Miller Chaplain: Scott Poling Vice President: Sharon VanDommelen Secretary: Andrea Unger Treasurer: Carl Myers(not pictured) During each spring quarter, officers are elected by the student body to serve as the leaders of the Student Government Association for the following year. These five students each have a variety of responsibilities in order to maintain the smooth functioning of the student government. The officers, as well as the many elected representatives from both the classes and organizations, meet on a weekly basis to address the needs of the student body. SGA often acts as a liaison between the administration and the student body. SGA members are organized into fourteen committees which perform many tasks on a regular basis. These responsibilities include things ranging from planning dorm parties to planning SGA chapels, from maintaining upkeep of washers, dryers, and vending machines to sponsoring the Inforum chapel series, and many other methods of meeting the needs of the student body.
