This year, nearly seventy students participated. The highlightofthe service came with the presentation of the Staff and Faculty of the Year Awards. This year, Dr. Daniel Wetzel, chair of the Science and MathematicsDeI 1, I is cl.ci.L partment, was voted the Faculty ofthe Year.He has been a professor at Cedarville since 1963,and has been the departmentchairforeightyears.Mrs. Murtha Kaercher received the Staff of the Year Award. She has worked at Cedarville for ten years, and currently overseesinsurance mattersfor Patterson Clinic. Both Kaercherand Wetzelweresurprised by this special honor; theyreceivedplaquesandflowers, and were joined on stage by their families for their acceptance speeches. Eric Fiveland
