Dr.Dixon started the weekend withTheStateofthe College Address. In the Address,he talked aboutCedarville'sgrowthandplans forfuturedevelopment. ThemusicfacultypresentedThe PRISM concert and reflected on how the Cedarville musicdepartmenthasgrowninthemanyyears sinceitsestablishment.Thepresentation, narrated by Dr. David Matson,relatedthemusicians'"attempt to serve Jesus Christ with [their] talents." The brass choir openedtheeveningwith"Fanfare fortheCommonMan."TheConcert Chorale, Men's Glee Club, andSymphonicBandfollowedthe /radeealeJ,J4/r-d 04//nemo/a),and J/e,,,,,e/14,e/waled eio-nze/n6va),.. brass choir's numbers. The CedarvilleCollegeOrchestraclosed theeveningwithapatriotic"AmericanSalute." Inadditiontogroupsofstudent musicians,thefacultyalsocontributedtheirmusicalgifts. DiCuirci, Dr.James Colman,Pagnard,Dr. John Mortensen, Dr. Charles Clevenger,and Mr.Mark Spencerdisplayedtheir marveloustalents. The Saturday morning parade continued withthe"OnceUpona Time"theme.Asmanypeoplelined the streets,they saw floats representingcastles,nurseryrhymes,and evenamorerecentpast,thehippie era.'Theafternoon'sactivitiesgave thealumniachancetointeractwith oneanotherandtoreminisceabout theirmemoriesatCedarville. The graduatessharedoldmemoriesand presentstudentscreatednewmemories.Boththegraduatesandpresent studentswillcarrythesememories withthemhappilyeverafter. htmi 12 student life
