' Sophomore Maria Harley commented on team goals, saying,"We have a common goal in directing our passion for running toward our greater passion for God, and with how close we became as a team this year, I'd have to say there's no other group of girls that I'd rather run with!" IF Sophomore Brittany Herbst said of the team, "They did a great job of making everyone feel as if they belonged and were neededno matter how long you had been there, no matter how fast you ran." Freshman Elisabeth Pyles enjoyed the team relationship, saying, "My favorite part of running CU cross country was just being a part of our team. It was great to get to know every girl on the team and to build close relationships." -4 Junior Samantha Maat emphasized the team focus, saying,"My favorite part of the season was being on a team with girls who are all running with the same focus... keeping God #1 and giving it all they have in every race as a sacrifice of worship to Him." Freshman Stacey Keller and Sophomore Leanne Crunelle lead a strong young Lady Jacket team in a race at John Bryan State Park. A Freshman Brittney Simpson enjoyed the national meet, saying, "I was also blessed to be able to run in the NAIA National meet. I think that was one of my favorite races of the season. Even though it was a big, hard race and I felt nervous, it was one that I will never forget."
