Elliv always reminds me of how creative God is, and I love seeing that displayed as a result of students' hard work." —Anna Zavodney Senior Student ELLIV If visitors had decided to come to Cedarville on the day of Elliv, they would have probably thought the university was hosting Ohio's version of Comic-Con. On the day of Elliv, students began to line up in costumes outside the DMC in eager anticipation.Some students dressed in formal attire, while others dressed as famous movie and video game characters. The air was full of excitement as students acted as their characters in front of the DMC entrance. After over an hour of waiting, the doors finally opened and students nearly trampled one another to get the best seats in the house. The show started off with the song "22" by Taylor Swift and was followed by a great selection of music including songs written by Imagine Dragons, Alicia Keys, and Mumford & Sons. During the show, various awards were also handed out. This year, a group of students dressed up as Duck Dynasty and together received the award for best costume. The highlight of the evening was when Dr. Brown played bass during the Bon Jovi medley. 1. This year's hosts, Dylan Cimo and Grace Sincock,introduce the first act of the night 2.Guysfrom Marshall 3dress up as Buddhist monks. 3.Students dressed as hippies pretend to protest outside of the DMC. 4. Heidi Dayton sings the song "22" by Taylor Swift for the first act. 5. David Straight harmonizes in the Mumford & Sons act.
