U.D. Soccer...Coaching Staff Head Coach—JERRY BUTCHER In three seasons at the helm o f the Soccer Flyers, Butcher has compiled a 25-26-3 record. A Dayton native, Jerry graduated from Wright State University in 1973 with a B A in Sociology and was a letterman in both soccer and basketball. He received a Master's in Education from the University o f Dayton in 1979. Jerry was recently hired as the Indoor Soccer Coordinator for Hara Arena. He will be starting his own sporting goods store, Hara s Pro Shop, in late September. An avid soccer enthusiast, Jerry also directs his own soccer camps as well as being a licensed referee. Coach Butcher realized his first winning season last year and intends on repeating that performance. The next goal? An HCAA Bid, o f course. Assistant Coach—ANDY KRAHLING A member of the Dartmouth class o f 1982, Coach Krahling enters his second year on the Dayton staff. A 1978 graduate o f Centerville High School, Andy was the team's MVP and an All-Midwest Selection as a goalkeeper. At Dartmouth College, Andy was a two-time All-Hew England Selection, a three-time All-Ivy League selection, and was voted the team's MVP his junior and senior years. Andy was invited to try out for the US Junior national Team, the US Olympic Team, and the US Sports Festival Team. I WANT TO BE A U.D.
