Dr. Brown founded the University with the belief that higher education should include highly developed career skills, traditional head knowledge, and spiritual maturity. This focus on the whole person estab­ lished by Dr. Brown is still the core of the educational philosophy at JBU. Since the early days JBU has grown to more than 800 students representing o- ver 40 states and 12 foreign countries. This adds to the diversity of JBU cam­ pus life enioved bv the students.
