Players of the Week (Oct. 24-30} - Julia Bradley~ CedarviHe (plllyer) Cara Metz, Urbana (setter) Dannielle Cathcart, Urbana (libero) CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville middle hitter Julia Bradley (Valencia, CA}, Urbana setter Cara Metz (Jackson Center, OH}, and Urbana libero Dannielle Cathcart (Anna, OH} are the AMC and NAIA Region IX women's volleyball Players of the Week. Bradley, a six-foot junior, paced NAIA No. 17 Ce,darville to a 3-0 week and their second straight AMC South ·Division title by averaging 5.11 kills per game with a .583 attack percentage. She had 46 kills with just four errors in 72 attempts and contributed nine blocks in nine games. Metz, a 5-8 freshman, was named MVP of the , Manchester Invitational after leading Urbana to a 5-1, week and the tournament title. She averaged 13.48 assists and 3.43 digs per game while serving up ten aces. Metz handed out a school-record 75 assists in a five-game match at Ohio Dominican. Cathcart, a 5-7 senior, averaged 8.48 digs for Urbana with seven service aces. She also posted a .956 passing percentage in 248 attempts. Cathcart has a school-record 1,126 digs this season which is one shy of the NAIA record. AMC NOTES: Mount Vernon Nazarene won three AMC South Division matches with Amanda Stevens averaging 4.70 kills and 3.20 digs per game. Sophomore setter Allison Klusmann added 12.70 assists.....Pamela Coudriet had 52 kills in Carlow's 3· -- 0 week and rookie setter Ashley Dimmitt totaled 104 assists.....Roberts Wesleyan won three AMC North Division matches as Jess Biever tallied 43 kills and 29 digs. Sundi Neuhaus contributed 87 assists and libero Katie Horch had 66 digs.....Lynnette Kiesling recorded 23 kills and 10 digs in Rio Grande's 3-2 win versus Shawnee State. Jessica Veach was good for 56 assists and 21 digs in the match while libero Jodi Smith chipped in 34 digs.....Cedarville setter Kelsey Jones averaged 13.29 assists during the Yellow Jackets' 3-0 week....,Malone's Racquel O'Hara had 38 kills and 50 digs in three matches for Malone.
